What this is
Natural Intelligence is educational material and a practice log. Find Your Passion is a structured way of working out what interests you.
Both are tools for noticing things about yourself. Neither is a qualified opinion about you.
What this is not
- Not medical advice, not psychological treatment, and not a diagnosis. If something hurts, or changes and you do not know why, ask somebody qualified before you ask a website.
- Not career advice, and not a prediction about your future earnings.
- Not a personality test. A result describes what you told us, and nothing more.
- Not a substitute for a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer or an accountant.
Your account
You need a working email address and you must be eighteen or older to open one yourself. Under eighteen, a school or a parent arranges it.
Signing in works by a link sent to your address, so whoever can read that inbox can reach your journal. Keep it secure, and tell us if you think somebody else has.
You can close your account whenever you like and take your entries with you.
What you write stays yours
Everything you write and every photograph you attach belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it.
We need permission to store and display it back to you, and that is the whole of the permission we need. We will not publish it, quote it, or use it as an example without asking you separately and specifically.
The material we wrote, the guides, the practices, the questions and the software, belongs to us. You may use it for yourself. You may not resell it or run it as your own programme without a written agreement.
Fair use
We may suspend an account doing any of that, and will say why.
- Do not use the forms to send mail to people who did not ask for it.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything that is somebody else's to upload.
- Do not attempt to reach another person's account or our systems.
- Do not scrape the material or resell access to it.
Paying
The price on the page is the price you pay. We are not registered for GST, so no tax is added at checkout and nothing further is charged afterwards.
Payment is taken by Paytm. Your card or bank details are entered on Paytm's own page and are never seen by us or stored on our servers: what comes back to us is whether the payment succeeded, and a reference number.
A paid step is delivered as described on its page. Where a step is produced by a model rather than a person, the page says so before you pay.
Monthly programmes
A monthly programme continues until you stop it. You can stop it at any time from your account, and stopping takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for: you keep what you paid for and are not charged again.
We will not raise the price of a programme you are already on without writing to you first and giving you the chance to stop before the change applies.
Refunds
Seven days, counted from the moment the money leaves your hands or the programme begins, whichever is the thing you are changing your mind about.
Write to fyp@turtlelabs.co.in and say what you bought and when. There is no form to fill in and nothing to justify.
A refund goes back to the method you paid with, within seven working days of us agreeing it. Your bank may take a few days more to show it, which is outside our hands.
Where a step has been delivered, is as described, and you are past the window, a refund is at our discretion. We would rather hear what went wrong than argue about it.
- A one-off step, such as a profile or a call: write to us within seven days of paying and we refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason.
- A monthly programme: write to us within seven days of opting in and we refund that first payment in full. After that you can stop at any time and will not be charged again, though the month already paid for is not refunded part-way through.
- Anything not delivered, or not what its page described: we refund it whenever you tell us, inside seven days or outside it. A deadline is not a way to keep money for something we did not do.
Availability
We will keep it running and we will not promise it never breaks. There is no uptime guarantee on a free tier.
If we discontinue something you have paid for and not yet received, we refund it.
Where we stand if something goes wrong
We are responsible for delivering what we described, and for handling your information as the privacy page sets out.
We are not responsible for decisions you take about your life, your work or your health after using this. The whole design of the product is that you draw the conclusion, and that cuts both ways.
The limit of what we owe you
Stated plainly, because a limit hidden in a long paragraph is a limit a court is entitled to ignore.
If we are liable to you for anything arising out of these terms or your use of this service, the most we owe you in total is the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or Rs 5,000.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: lost profit, lost revenue, lost opportunity, lost goodwill, or the cost of work you did in reliance on something here. Where information you stored with us is lost, our responsibility is to restore it from backup if we can, and not to compensate you for what it was worth to you.
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
- Fraud, or any fraudulent misrepresentation by us.
- Our own wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Anything the Consumer Protection Act, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or any other law does not permit us to limit or exclude.
None of the limits above apply to the things in that list. They are not limited by this agreement and cannot be.
Turtle Labs currently trades as a sole proprietorship, which means there is no company between you and Aditya Bisen. The limit above exists so that an ordinary disagreement about a Rs 999 profile stays an ordinary disagreement. It is not there to avoid putting right something we got wrong, and the refund terms above are deliberately more generous than this clause requires.
If you have a complaint
Write to Aditya Bisen at fyp@turtlelabs.co.in. We acknowledge within forty-eight hours and resolve within thirty days, and we will tell you where it has got to rather than leaving you to ask.
If that does not settle it, you can take it to a consumer forum, or to the National Consumer Helpline on 1915. Where the complaint is about your information rather than your purchase, the Data Protection Board of India is the place after us.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right the Consumer Protection Act gives you.
Law
Indian law applies, and the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, that clause does not stop you bringing a complaint where the law says you may bring it, which is usually where you live or work.
Changes
We may change these. If a change matters we will say so here and write to you, and it applies from when we do, not backwards.
